Traditionally a new year is a time to reflect on the past year and look to what needs to be changed for the future. For the Youth Ministry the past year has been a great one. We have seen significant growth not only in numbers but also in spiritual growth. None of this could have happened without God's help and the church's support. We have plenty of room for growth in the next year and I would like to take this moment to invite you to join in that growth.

There is an ongoing need for volunteers in the Youth Ministry. Chief of these right now is the need for a woman to come in and help. You do not need to teach or any thing but just be there and be willing to love the girls in our group. Or, if you do not feel the call of God in that area, we are also this month starting a Youth Ministry Committee made up of parents, students, and any church members who want to take part. This committee will help me in the planning and running of the various events during the year. It would be a great way to help but stay behind the scenes. Finally, your prayers are always a great way to help.

Coming at the end of February is our 2012 Disciple Now weekend. I am looking at having three groups this year and will need at least three homes willing to host a group. If you are interested let me know.
