Wow, summer can’t be over yet, can it? What a summer it’s been. VBS was great with 2 decisions for Christ. Preteen Camp was a blessed time with 2 more decisions for Christ. God is so good and so faithful. Thank you for all your prayer and financial support for these two summer events that provided an avenue for children’s lives to be changed!

The new school year has begun. As we promote our Kindergarteners into First Grade and our Sixth Graders into Seventh (and the Youth Group) we have much to be thankful for. It’s time to settle into that school routine once again. Children in Action and Mission Friends will again be our focus on Wednesday nights for our preschoolers and children. It’s so much fun learning about men and women who have followed God’s call to go all over the world to tell others about Jesus.

Also, Kid’s Worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am is picking up speed. We have Bible lessons the first two Sundays of each month and our new Puppet Ministry takes the lead on the third Sunday. We join the rest of the church family on the fourth Sunday so we truly worship together in Family Church. We are looking for caring men and women to share the teaching responsibility on those first couple of Sundays each month. If you feel you have a Bible story and message to share, let Whitney Hooper or myself know and we’ll get you signed up.
