Wow! May came and went in a hurry. Summer is here and full of opportunities. Two events in children’s ministry are happening real soon.

Vacation Bible School, Big Apple Adventure: Where Faith and Life Connect is right around the corner. The majority of the faculty is in place and plans are being made. VBS is June 20-24 from 8:45 a.m. until noon each day. Our very own missionary family – Alan and Leah Fleming – will be a vital part of our event this year! A VBS Family Movie Night is scheduled for Friday, June 17. Bring your family and friends to a fun night that paves the way for a special week of VBS. Family Night, June 24 @ 6:30 p.m., will be loaded with special activities. This is for the entire church family and you won’t want to miss it! Watch for more details in coming days. We already have boys and girls pre-registered. Registration forms are in the foyer of the Worship Center. Take time to go ahead and enroll in VBS so you don’t have to “fight” the crowds on the first morning. VBS is for those boys and girls who have completed Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Coming up right after VBS is Children’s Camp for those boys and girls who have completed grades 3 – 6. Family cost is only $50 per camper due to donations that have been given to help campers pay for camp this summer. Thank you to those who have so generously given. Camp registration is open – so come get your information packet and get signed up.

Wednesday nights for kids continues under the umbrella of Wacky Wednesdays. Who knows what may happen when our kids come together each Wednesday night this summer at 6:30 p.m.
